How to Access the Online Learners' Orientation

If you haven't taken an online course before, you may want to either attend our Face-to-Face Online Orientation or take the Online version of the orientation. The dates and times for the face-to-face orientations can be found at http://my.msjc.edu/web/ol/new.htm.To enroll in the online version, please follow the directions below:

To take the Online Oreintation for Distance Education Students, please do the following:

1. Log on to Blackboard at the http://my.msjc.edu web site.

2. Once you are logged in to Blackboard, select the COURSES tab at the top of the screen and click on BROWSE COURSE CATALOG.

3. In the search box select NAME and Starts With from the drop down menu and type in DE Online Orientation

then select GO

4. You will see a screen that lists the course and has an ENROLL button on the right, select ENROLL

5. Select SUBMIT, then on the next screen select OK and you are in the course!

The online orientation is something for you to go through on your own. If you have questions, go
to the discussion board and Lynn Mann will be there to answer your questions.
